The Sig Sauer MCX SPEAR is a semi-automatic pistol designed as part of Sig Sauer's submission for the U.S. Army's Next Generation Squad Weapon program, aiming to replace the M4A1. This model features a 13-inch threaded barrel equipped with an SLX/SLH QD flash hider for effective muzzle control and reduced signature.

The MCX SPEAR boasts a robust coyote anodized finish and includes a lightweight M-LOK handguard, enhancing its tactical versatility and modularity. It is fitted with ambidextrous controls, including both a bolt catch/release and a rear and side charging handle, providing ease of use for both left- and right-handed shooters. The two-position adjustable gas valve allows for fine-tuning of the rifle's operation to match different ammunition types and shooting conditions.

Additionally, the MCX SPEAR is designed for superior accuracy and reliability, featuring a Chrome Lined DLC barrel and a precise two-stage match trigger.
